Air Gun Spraying

In air gun spraying, paint is sprayed onto the surface of a workpiece with an air-pressurized spray gun.  the paint is directed into an air-stream, which reduces it to a fine spray.

Process Characteristics

Uses compressed air
Reduces the paint to a fine spray
Can be a manual or automatic process
Requires skilled operators for manual operation
Can achieve a wide variety of spray patterns
