Chemical Degreasing

Chemical degreasing is a cleaning process
that uses chemicals to remove foreign substances from the surface of the
workpiece. The workpiece is usually submerged in a chemical bath
where the chemical attacks the surface of the workpiece. If a
workpiece is left in the chemical long enough, its surface will be
slightly etched.
