Furnace Brazing

Furnace brazing is a joining process that
uses filler metal to join two contacting workpieces. Heat
generated by the furnace melts the filler metal and distributes it
throughout the joint by capillary action.
Process Characteristics
 | Uses a furnace to heat the workpiece |
 | Furnaces are heated only to a temperature
sufficient to melt the filler metal |
 | May braze multiple joints simultaneously |
